OBI’s 2022 – 2024 strategic plan has the clear objective of building a stronger worldwide network of schools. The plan offers a pathway for supporting Schools as they grow and for expanding the OB network. Our member Schools have as their focus: building personal resilience, self-confidence, compassion, social competency and environmental responsibility in all participants.
It is a fundamental tenet of Outward Bound that young people are our future. In these challenging times, the world needs more Outward Bound. The negative impact on young people of today’s social, economic and environmental challenges is in need of critical attention. As these issues become more and more pervasive and acute, the need to respond with solutions becomes more and more pressing.
