Outward Bound Bulgaria started with lots of enthusiasm, love and friendship. To be “Outward Bound” for us is to be involved in a process of movement, exploration and change. This is lifestyle.

In 1999 Outward Bound- Bulgaria set up an independent Foundation “Education Through Challenge” and now the for-profit section is only one of the instruments for the fulfillment of Foundations’ goals. The Foundation main target groups are socially vulnerable children and youth. With the aim to improve the services for these children Outward Bound Bulgaria strives to work in cooperation with different NGOs and State institutions. The participants in our Social program for the last 3 years are more than 200 people.

Since it’s beginning Outward Bound Bulgaria has developed a specialized corporate training program for team building and team- work improvement. We have become a leading organization in this field. With this program we have organized Outward Bound training abroad (ex. Greece).

To be Outward Bound means also to meet the challenges in outdoor activities and here in Bulgaria, we have a lot of beautiful and wild landscapes where people can face their fears and find their courage: high and unbounded mountains, numerous lakes, rivers, mineral water springs and beautiful Black Sea Coast. All these natural advantages as well as the four season weather give the opportunity for a wide diversity of Outward Bound activities.
