Discover Australia! You will have a chance to, if you participate in any of the diverse course offerings at Outward Bound Australia. Its national base is in the breathtaking Brindabella and Tidbinbilla Ranges, filled with a variety of wildlife, clear mountain rivers, expansive forests and spectacular rock climbing sites.

Outward Bound Australia operates up to 18 other operational areas including Australia's highest mountain (Mt. Kosciuszko), the rugged mountains and temperate forests of Victoria, rainforests of Queensland and the ancient Tingle and Karri Forests on the rugged headlands of Western Australia. Outward Bound Australia also administers an international program that partners with other Outward Bound schools. Students can take courses that include caving, bush walking, ropes courses, rock climbing, abseiling, white water rafting, canoeing and more.

The school serves school youth, students with special needs, corporations, families, multicultural and indigenous peoples, outdoor professionals and the general public with its courses. To maintain leadership in the field of outdoor education, Outward Bound Australia has conducted extensive research on the results of its programs, and has registered itself nationally as a training organization for outdoor education.

Outward Bound Australia is one of the world's leading providers of training for outdoor professionals, with trainees and staff coming from Africa, Asia, Europe, the US, Canada and Central and South America.
